Dear Clients and Friends,
Recently, many of our clients are approaching a time in their lives when they are making major transitional decisions. At these critical milestones, many will facehaving to address challenging issues/conversations - starting with themselves.
- When are you going to stop driving?
- When will you have the conversation with your children/heirs about your finances and long-term care plans, including residential arrangements?
- How will you make all these decisions, and when is it time to add your family into the conversation?
This summer, we will join one of the nation's leading Aging Plan experts and founder of Care Right, Inc., Annalee Kruger, to present an educational series discussing answering the questions above and implementing an aging plan. To learn more about Analee Kruger, feel free to visit her company's website, carerightinc.com.
We will provide tips and strategies for handling the transition into the next chapter of your life or the life of your aging partners and parents. We will share examples that we have observed firsthand while dealing with many complex legal matters over the past 3 decades.
Finally, I simply want to refer you back to our old articles on the "Perfect Storm." With continued low-interest rates, low valuations (if the stock market or the bond market goes down or stays down), and the continued high federal exemptions (for gift and estate tax) until the scheduled law change on December 31, 2025, there is a perfect storm for advanced estate planning. The time is now to take advantage of this confluence.
Have a great summer, and as always, "Stay Cool 😎."
